As with all regulators the importance of clear and concise documentation for all audiences is paramount. These audiences range from the general public right through to the board members of Ofgem and include all levels of staff within the organisation.

When a regulator creates documentation often for legal or judicial scrutiny it is important that robust systems are in place to enable all stakeholders in a project to have a full understanding of the development of a written project as much as it is for the eventual written content to be suitable for its target audience.

Generator created a typographic style, design format and document structure that helped all stakeholders to clearly identify what was of importance and for their specific attention as well as working within the software environment to recommend structure and processes by which authors and editors of document based projects were fully informed at every stage.
